Meet Dave: A Familiar Face at Groves Shop

If you’ve visited Groves Shop, you’ll probably recognise Dave Hiscock, one of the friendly faces behind the till.

Dave has been part of the Groves team for 12 years, joining us after retiring. His role focuses on sales and customer support, but for Dave, it’s the people who make working at Groves so enjoyable.

“I love talking to all the people who come into the shop,” says Dave. “I like serving people and helping them.”

Living in Milton, Dave is passionate about the friendly, hands-on approach at Groves. He likes that customers can come in, browse and explore the shop without feeling hassled, while knowing there is always someone nearby to offer advice or help when needed.

For Dave, Groves is about much more than shopping. He believes it plays an important role in the Milton and Wychwoods community, providing a place where local people can find what they need and enjoy a friendly face and a chat along the way.

After 11 years, Dave has become a much-loved part of the Groves team – and his smile behind the till is certainly one that customers have come to know and enjoy.
