A Long-Awaited Addition: New Loo Facilities at Groves Yard

At Groves Yard, we are always looking for ways to improve the experience for the businesses, makers, visitors and wider community that bring the site to life. Sometimes that means major developments; sometimes it means addressing something far more practical.

We are delighted to unveil one of the most anticipated improvements at Groves Yard – our brand-new loo block - a collaboration between The Style Brush, Lucy Harrison Interiors and Groves Yard.

For many years, improved visitor amenities have been on our wish list. Like any property with ambitious plans, however, we have had to balance priorities, budgets and investment across the wider estate. The challenge has never been recognising the need but finding the right opportunity to deliver it properly.

That opportunity has now arrived.

What was once an underused corner of the yard has been thoughtfully repurposed into a bright, welcoming facility that reflects the character of Groves Yard itself. Natural light floods the space through roof lights, while carefully chosen finishes, artwork and detailing elevate what could have been a purely functional building into something with genuine personality. The new block includes well-designed toilets alongside an easily accessible disabled toilet, ensuring that Groves Yard is easier and more comfortable for everyone to enjoy.

This project is about more than simply adding toilets. This investment demonstrates our commitment to making the most of every part of the site, enhancing underutilised spaces and continually improving what Groves Yard has to offer. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience for everyone who works here, visits here and helps make this unique destination what it is.

We look forward to welcoming both new and returning visitors to experience the improvements for themselves.
