Christmas is Coming to Groves Yard

We’re very excited to announce that the Groves Yard Christmas Market is back – and this year we’re doing things a little differently.

On Friday 4th December, from 3.30pm–8pm, Groves Yard will be transformed into a Victorian Christmas Market, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Alfred Groves.

For one festive evening, the Yard will be filled with twinkling lights, Christmas music and plenty of seasonal atmosphere, with a wonderful collection of local artists, makers, crafters, food producers and independent businesses joining us.

There’ll be Christmas gifts to discover, delicious food and drink to enjoy, Christmas Trees, carol singers, a brass band, children’s activities and a few special surprises along the way. Our Groves Yard businesses will be getting involved too, making it a great opportunity to explore the whole Yard and perhaps get a little Christmas shopping done at the same time.

We love bringing people together at Groves Yard, and the Christmas Market has become one of our favourite evenings of the year.

So wrap up warm, bring your friends and family and join us for a little Victorian Christmas magic.
